We have chosen the Moots YBB to get special attention with our Dreamride Edition MAX build because of its classic look and design. The Moots softail's solid construction has built a lasting reputation. It is simply a perfect frame, the first softail design EVER, and a testament to effective simplicity. You are not going to find another mountain bike frame to satisfy your desire for a no-maintenance, minimal suspension that helps you climb and keeps you comfortable on long rides in the mountains. The YBB comes in standard, superlite, air shock, YBBent (pictured), 29 inch wheel Mooto-X, Psycho-X cyclocross and Vamoots road frame models. The standard friction shock design (recommended) gets an inch and an eigth of rear end travel. Air shock YBB frames get one inch of well-tuned travel. The YBB frames can be customized somewhat. For example, the bent top tube for better clearance. The YBBent comes in a 12" size. There are also softail road racing and cross frames available. Call for information.
Frame only: $2975 standard; $3105 YBBent; $3200 for 29" wheel version; $500 for Moots Slider singlespeed dropouts: $500 for Rohloff option. $1100 for couplers. $500 for custom sizing (we mix and match existing tubesets to save a bit on custom sizing charges).
All frame only sales come with a Chris King headset, free shipping in the contintental United States, no tax out of Utah, and a free seatpost to Utah residents.

State-of-the-art build ~ Classic frame!
The XDreamMax is dead-set to satisfy the obsessed gearhead. If you are racing on tight, steep courses, or want no-compromise recreational fun on technical singletrack, the YBB Max is THE traditional cross country bike for the connoiseur. Dreamride sweats the details, sparing no expense to bring weight down without compromising strength, lateral rigidity or overall performance. New for 2008, our stock fork is a Magura Durin Marathon (subsitute a comparable Fox or Marzocchi). The Durin Marathon is a rigid and rugged XC fork that features cartridge technology that YOU can work on. Magura Marta SL discs with comfy carbon fiber levers (Marta Magnesium optional) offer remarkable modulation and low weight. The Max takes advantage of the increased strength, beauty and longevity of Moots' titanium stem and seatpost combo. Shifting is handled by SRAM X.0 twisters (X.O thumb shifters--add $125). The Max rolls on our own light, strong, handbuilt SuperEgo wheelset based on stunning personally color-matched Chris King ISO hubs. XTR cranks or FSA Mega K-Force Lite carbon. This light and strong parts kit frees you from grueling maintenance worries for a very long time. The Max was specifically designed for the titanium framesets from MOOTS (Rigor Mootis, Cinco and YBB). As with other Dreamride parts formulas, each Max bike is completely unique to the individual. Parts, modifications, wheel construction, frame fabrication and finish can vary based on personal rider weight, desires and demands. Expect the complete bike to come in at around 23 to 25 pounds, depending on YOUR weight. THIS IS THE BUILD THAT DESERVES THE LONGER WAIT FOR A CUSTOM PAINT OR ANODIZING JOB.
