El Padrino is the best value in a truly fine handmade aluminum 9er frame. The MRC9er component group chosen for this frame reflects 29er parts-testing for our Moab rental bikes. We don't generally choose aluminum hardtails to grace with Dreamride builds, but this one literally works for us.

The Padrino MRC can race, haul ass on fire roads, cut up tight singletrack and eat dirt roads alive. The bike pictured above is the smallest configuration we could manage, suiting a 5'6" rider. This same configuration would also make a fine XC race bike for a 160 pound rider up to 5'9". We may deviate from stock parts to get just the right fit and geometry for you, as we did in this case. Riders from 190 to 210 pounds must upgrade to Dreamride Chris King wheelset. Suspension post is optional.

El Padrino MRC PARTS KIT EL PADRINO FRAME, Rock Shox Reba front fork, FSA Afterburner polished cranks with outside bearings, SRAM X-9 grip shifters and derailleurs, Magura Marta disc brakes, WTB Dual Duty FR wheelset, Chris King headset, FSA XC190 flat bar, Thomson seatpost and stem, WTB Pure V Stealth saddle, WTB ExiWolf and/or Nanoraptor kevlar beaded tires. This is a kit bike. It comes unassembled, except for the wheelset. $2995 ~ includes shipping. Upgrade to Dreamride handbuilt Chris King/Mavic wheelset (as pictured) for $495.
