Dreamride specializes in custom Moots bikes with Moab tested parts kits. Moots gets Dreamride Special Edition (DSE) builds because they produce elegant, durable, smartly-engineered titanium frames IN-HOUSE and allow us to customize each and every frame, if the need is there. One look or one ride on a Dreamride-built Moots produces butterflies and quickens the heart. For 2008 we are delving deeper into custom Moots frames based on the MOOTO-X and ZIRKEL REAR SUSPENSION DESIGN with 29 inch wheels and 26/29 combinations. The Moots RIGOR MOOTIS hardtail and YBB frames (in 26 and 29 inch wheeled versions) remain the pinnacle of classic mountain bike frames still being produced in America. The CINCO is a sweet XC full suspension frame, combining a titanium front triangle with a proven Ventana aluminum four bar rear end. MOOTS TITANIUM ROAD AND CROSS BIKE FRAMES are in a league of their own. Because Pegoretti is the real deal, handbuilt in Italy by a master. As a work of fine art, a Pegoretti is attached to the artist himself. Dario Pegoretti's knowledge, caring and obsession mean performance attributes to die for and looks that kill. His intricately crafted frames are canvases for pop art, producing personalized objects of desire to pass down to your cycling grandchildren as one would pass down a precious antique. Custom frame builds with custom parts combos and one-off cosmetics can happen here. Like a Dreamride bike fits you, Dreamride is a perfect fit for Dario's amazing work. Lee Bridgers, company owner, bike designer and builder, has three Fine Art degrees and taught and lectured art at colleges and universities around the world with one-man shows as a painter, performance artist and filmmaker in the U.S. and Europe. Ventana's line of handbuilt aluminum frames cover a range of uses from road to full suspension mountain tandems. Engineering and fabrication of these frames are immaculate, and customer service is as good as it gets. THE VENTANA PRODUCT LINE includes several 29ers, cross country, all mountain, and freeride frames. Ventana produces the most smartly designed, solid and rational, four bar rear suspension design on the market and, like Moots, Pegoretti and Lynskey, in-house production allows personal customization.

Lynskey dovetails with Moots to give us almost unrestrained abilities to customize titanium. While Moots is THE classic conservative titanium frame and component fabricator, Lynskey's frames are a walk on the wild side, with shaped tubing, stunning finishes and even greater ability to customize all aspects of the bike's design, performance and cosmetics. If Moots bikes belong in the Smithsonian, Lynskey belongs in the Moab Hot Rod Show. With the addition of Lynskey we now have an American fabricator to produce the Dreamride White Rim 69er frame, allowing each to be custom sized and detailed for the individual. Lynskey's paint shop gives birth to stunning graphic designs--from mirror polishing to fantasy laser-etched anything-you-want, to the metallic flames of hell--if you can think of it, Lynskey can do it. We are particularly excited about offering Lynskey's new 29'er hardtail, the PRO 29, an amazing value for such an elegant, radical (curved diamond tubing) and versatile (adjustable wheelbase dropouts are stock, so the frame can build a singlespeed or a geared bike) space age work of wonder. A Sentimental Favorite!
Miki Musiek (now Miki Bridgers, Dreamride co-owner) sat in her front yard in Genk, Belgium, waiting for Eddy. It was a special day in this sleepy mining town when the Tour was routed in front of the family home. It went like this: After picnics in the yard and the neighborhood's frenzied wait, Eddy appeared, zipping past to constant screams, "Eddieeee." The crowd slowly settled down, then after half an hour, the peloton whizzed past, another race altogether. Such was the career and era of the greatest racer in the history of the sport of cycling. It is not the number of wins that puts Merckx on top, but the way he won and the time in which he competed. He singlehandedly, relentlessly destroyed the rest of the field with brute force in a time when bicycle racing was instinct and pure genetics, not radios, helicopters or million dollar time trial bikes and steroid teams with strange looking bodies, and lies, lies, lies. Eddie had bacon, eggs and potatoes for breakfast. We picked Merckx bikes and frames because Merckx AXM and EXM frames are made in Italy and are very nice indeed, but we mainly chose Merckx because of Miki. We chose Moots, Ventana and Pegoretti for quality in design, in-house fabrication, and for the control they allow us in production of each individual frame.
