Best Road Racing Frames Available, Period!
If you thought steel was obsolete as a material for bike frames, look again. While you are looking, remember that Tom Boonen won the green jersey in 2007 on a Pegoretti with his sponsor's logo on it. A lot of pros would rather race on a Pegoretti, but they are tied to their carbon fiber disposables by corporate sponsors selling a Chinese fabricated bike that literally costs less than 15% of the retail price to produce! Dario Pegoretti's passion, knowledge, caring and obsession are incredibly rare at this point in time and, in Dario's case, this means performance attributes to die for and looks that kill. His intricately crafted frames are canvases for some of the most amazing pop art to grace a practical tool. Dario produces personalized objects of desire to pass down to your cycling grandchildren as one would pass down a precious antique or work of fine art. For an art collector, this is a fine way to own a piece of art for a very, very reasonable price and be able to go really fast on it. Lee Bridgers, company owner, is an artist, has three Fine Art degrees, taught and lectured fine art at colleges and universities around the world and has had one-man shows as a painter, performance artist and filmmaker. He says, "If you buy one of Dario Pegoretti's hand painted frames, eventually it will have great value as fine art, but because they are perfect machines, you are going to want to ride this Picasso. The Dreamride F-SERIES is an uncomprising long travel mountain bike for very technical singletrack and rough, rocky desert terrain. Employing a well-tested high quality four bar linkage rear end, the Dreamride F-series is offered in two wheel size configurations (26 [Fully] and 29-26 [F-69]). These come in standard or heavy duty models to accommodate a wide range of body types, riding styles and trail conditions. We also offer a rigid 29er-69er road/trail convertible called the White Rim (can come with wild paint). The White Rim converts from full 29 to 69 configurations and is based on an American made titanium frame. The convertible is also available as a custom-fabricated Moots frame. A Sentimental Favorite!
Miki Musiek (now Miki Bridgers, Dreamride co-owner) sat in her front yard in Genk, Belgium, waiting for Eddy. It was a special day in this sleepy mining town when the Tour was routed in front of the family home. It went like this: After picnics in the yard and the neighborhood's frenzied wait, Eddy appeared, zipping past to constant screams, "Eddieeee." The crowd slowly settled down, then after half an hour, the peloton whizzed past, another race altogether. Such was the career and era of the greatest racer in the history of the sport of cycling. It is not the number of wins that puts Merckx on top, but the way he won and the time in which he competed. He singlehandedly, relentlessly destroyed the rest of the field with brute force in a time when bicycle racing was instinct and pure genetics, not radios, helicopters or million dollar time trial bikes and steroid teams with strange looking bodies, and lies, lies, lies. Eddie had bacon, eggs and potatoes for breakfast. We picked Merckx bikes and frames because Merckx AXM and EXM frames are made in Italy and are very nice indeed, but we mainly chose Merckx because of Miki. We carry the full line and will ship in the 48 states for free.

Each part and parts combination is proven through continued field-testing on the tough technical trails, extreme rock and rough canyon backroads of southeastern Utah. A high percentage of Dreamride's annual budget is spent on product research and testing. Without an advertising/marketing budget or a fancy printed catalog, all energies go into product testing and development. We chose Moots, Ventana and Pegoretti for quality in design, in-house fabrication, and for the control they allow us in production of each individual frame. Dreamride Special Edition bikes, marked by the jumping coyote logo in this on-line CATALOG, begin with a thorough interview/evaluation to determine correct frame style choice, fit, appropriate parts combination, special modifications, price considerations and personalized cosmetics. Our bikes are based on tested, no-compromise component formulas, carefully manipulated to suit specific terrain, use, climate and riding style. Each bike is completely built, then partially disassembled and carefully packed into a hardshell flight case (most road bikes will not fit into the case due to the size of bars and shifter sets, so we ship those wrapped in plumbing insulation foam tubing and placed into bike boxes). The package is shipped to your door via UPS ground (rapid shipment is available for rush orders). Each DSE purchase is followed by toll free tech support. Some builds get a personal on-line manual and invitations to Moab events. We accept Master Card, Visa, and Discover cards, direct wire transfers, money orders, personal or cashier's checks with time allowed to clear. There is always a 15% restocking fee for returns, cancellations, substitutions or changes made after the original order. 50% down payment is required to secure orders for complete bikes, kits and framesets. Balance is due upon shipment. 100% payment is required for purchases under $1000. Component substitutions may be required to fit the bike to your body and your needs, but any substitutions not included in Dreamride's tested parts lists must meet company standards.
