After years researching parts and designing our 9er, the El Rey comes along to reassure us that we didn't have to design a full suspension 9er on our own. Sherwood did it for us. 2007! Our most popular kit over the past ten years, the SuperEgo Grouppo, has a new lower price. This kit has the same performance capabilities as the exotic MAX kit listed below, but is more cost effective and some may argue that it is even more beauiful by virtue of the balance of colors between silver components and the rear end of the frame. Put together after consultation, parts in the basic formula are sometimes manipulated, altered and/or combined with others from the MAX kit to suit personal tastes, budget and needs. The result always begs you to go FASTER. The only thing that will slow you down on the trail is the attention your bike gets from other riders. Like all Dreamride bikes featuring Chris King hubs and headsets, The SuperEgo can be custom color-matched for a additional charge of $50. Optional matching frame colors are $150 additional. El Rey gets a Fox RP3 shock and Reba fork as standard equipment with a SuperEgo kit. Jewel-like Magura Marta brakes are stock equipment. Included in the grouppo are SRAM X.9 shifters and rear derailleur, FSA Afterburner cranks, XT cogset and front derailleur, Thomson OS stem and seatpost, and FSA XC-190 handlbars. A hardshell flight case and complete build are included in stated pricing. Shipping is NOT included in SE bike pricing.

All MAX bikes and accompanying wheelsets are built by company owner, Lee Bridgers, one at a time for each client.
This is as good as it gets. You cannot upgrade a MAX kit, so if you want to go balls-out off the bat, here is your chance. This is a DSE build with all the perks that come with the extreme upper end bikes we offer. This frame and parts kit create a light, versatile package suitable for fire roads and woodsy singletracks 90% of the mountain biking public ride. We bless El Rey with our top-dog Moab-tested MAX component group and a Rock Shox Reba or carbon-legged Pace RC40 (additional $395) to balance handling a suspension feel on both ends. Wheelsets are built from appropriate rims to your specific weight. Because 29 inch wheels are their own engineering challenge, there are four specific rims that we choose from in building your bike. The rest of the grouppo can be found on other extreme high end builds on this site.
