Ventana La Bruja Frames and Bikes

She's back, but more a rippling reflection than a redo--a reincarnation--of one of coolest frames of all time. In the works for a while, this baby reflects cannibalism at Ventana more than it reflects the original La Bruja. You see just a tad of the old La Bruja here in the actual fabrication of the frame, but the intent is the same. In this life the witch has longer legs and less complicated construction. There's some of my favorite single privot dinosaur, El Chamuco, in there, as well. La Bruja and her brother, EL TERRAMOTO were designed by Sherwood Gibson after a trip to England where he witnessed ramped North Shore-style riding on fire, the next big mountain bike fad spreading into the woods near urban areas. So, Sherwood focused on six and seven inch bikes for that kind of riding. The kits we formulated for these two bikes go right for their strengths with chain control and sturdy forks with travel equal to the rear end of the bike for balance handling and drop-absorbing capabilities.
